Drivetrain

Tivoli is available with a 1.5 litre turbocharged direct injection petrol engine which are rated to the latest Euro 6d emissions standards. Whatever your preference, there’s a Tivoli for you.

1.5 litre petrol

  • 1497 cc
  • 163 PS @ 5,500 rpm
  • 280 Nm @ 1,500-4,000 rpm

Transmission

Tivoli has a choice of two modern and efficient 6-speed gearboxes – manual and automatic.

The 1.5 litre petrol is available with either manual or automatic transmissions.

The automatic gearbox is a third generation unit sourced from Japanese supplier Aisin and is well proven and respected across the industry.

Idle stop & go

ISG is standard on all Tivoli models – it automatically shuts off the engine when at idle to enhance fuel economy and reduce exhaust emissions.

Drive mode

Featured on Tivoli automatic models, the driver can select one of three drive modes, Normal, Sport or Winter, to suit conditions and promote safer driving.

Normal

  • Balancing the need for fuel economy and power
This default mode is utilized for day-to-day driving and is not indicated on the dashboard.

Sport

  • Delivers extra power at the expense of fuel economy
Starting from the NORMAL Mode, turn the driving mode switch clockwise to the SPORT mode, which will be indicated on the dashboard.

Winter

  • Starts the vehicle in second gear to prevent tires from slipping on icy roads in the winter.
When in NORMAL or SPORT, hold the driving mode switch for longer than one second to switch to WINTER Mode, which will be indicated on the dashboard.

Noise, vibration & harshness

Using new construction features such as under floor damping, pillar cavity foam, and a sound absorbing roof liner, Tivoli is effective in isolating engine, road and exterior sounds for a quiet driving experience. A sophisticated engine mount system, alongside powertrain and driveline suppression measures, maximises noise reduction and has allowed Tivoli to attain superb levels of NVH.

Safety

The basis of a vehicle’s safety is its monocoque structure – both how it’s made and how it responds on impact. KGM’s engineers have made extensive use of high strength steel to construct a rigid passenger cell. Tivoli is equipped with 7 airbags for maximum passenger protection on impact – the most in its class. These include a driver’s knee protection airbag – a feature normally found in prestige vehicles. The combination of a substantial structure, latest smart safety aids and electronic driving aids give Tivoli an outstanding safety performance that scores 4 stars in the Euro NCap test.

Forward Collision Warning & Autonomous Emergency Braking

Forward Collision Warning & Autonomous Emergency Braking

Evaluating data from the vehicle’s on board camera, Forward Collision Warning (FCW) can detect a potential collision with a vehicle, pedestrian or obstacle. If a collision appears imminent FCW will warn the driver, and if there is insufficient response Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) will intervene with appropriate braking force to stop the vehicle or minimise damage.

Lane Departure Warning & Lane Keeping Assist

Lane Departure Warning & Lane Keeping Assist

Lane Departure Warning (LDW) is designed to alert the driver that the vehicle is about to deviate from a traffic lane. Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) then helps the car stay toward the centre of the lane by applying a small amount of counter-steering force.

Traffic Sign Recognition

Traffic Sign Recognition

The system recognises speed limit signs and provides the driver with an on-screen warning reminder.

Tyre Pressure Monitoring

Tyre Pressure Monitoring

Continually monitors the tyre pressures of all four wheels and advises when to inflate or if a puncture is detected.

Active safety

E S P

Electronic stability programme

The electronic stability programme monitors road conditions and vehicular status constantly, adjusting engine output and braking whenever the driver is about to lose control. The ESP integrates the anti-lock brake system, active rollover protection, anti-slip regulation and brake-force assist to improve Tivoli’s intervention capabilities.

E B D - A B S

Electronic brakeforce distribution anti-lock brake system

Brake force is distributed appropriately to the front and rear wheels according to the load of persons and/or cargo.

B A S

Brake assist system

When this electronically controlled system senses the driver applying emergency braking it assists by applying maximum braking effort automatically to reduce the vehicle’s braking distance and to help avoid an accident.

Tyre pressure monitoring system

Tivoli has tyre pressure monitoring built into its electronics. Monitored through the trip computer, each tyre is continually checked for pressure with the driver immediately warned of unsafe inflation.

Unity Automotive Group Limited is an Appointed Representative of Automotive Compliance Ltd, who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA No 497010). Automotive Compliance Ltd’s permissions as a Principal Firm allows Unity Automotive Group Limited to act as a credit broker, not as a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders and to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer for insurance distribution activities only. We can introduce you to a selected panel of lenders, which includes manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent. An introduction to a lender does not amount to independent financial advice and we act as their agent for this introduction. Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked directly to the particular franchise you are purchasing your vehicle from, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next best offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure the best deal you are eligible for from our panel of lenders. Lenders may pay a fixed commission to us for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow. Different lenders may pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time before the Finance agreement is executed. All finance applications are subject to status, terms and conditions apply, UK residents only, 18’s or over. Guarantees may be required.
