Working under these new conditions post lock down we have worked tirelessly to incorporate a safe business practise to protect both our customers and staff without losing the informal approach.
From Monday 1st of June our showrooms and after sales facilities will be reopening and we will be delighted to see all our customers, staff and suppliers back in the business. Over the last two months we have had a skeleton team ensuring that our customers can always get a phone call or email answered and I would like to thank these guys for the personal sacrifice in ensuring our customers had a level of service even through the difficult early days. The last weeks have been a hive of activity as we prepare our business for your arrival and during this time where we will be operating incorporating new practices with a reduced work force I would ask that you email or call first so that we can send you as much information about your safe and secure visit.
Where possible we will enable as much of our customer transactions whether it be car purchase, servicing or parts and accessories online or via digital communication, we have a vast digital library of brochure’s and videos to answer virtually any type of enquiry. On request we will film a video walk round of potential car purchase or service maintenance recommendations to avoid unnecessary travel or visits.
For each type of physical visit to the site each customer will be sent a brief email outlining how we will protect you and our staff whilst delivering the experience that you both expect and require. We will always ask to arrange a mutually convenient but specific time so that we can manage the amount of people on site and allow your visit to be un hurried but reduce the amount of people you come into contact with.
The sanitisation products we will use will be the best that we can purchase and will be used liberally in all areas of the business and vehicles. Demonstrators will no longer be used over night by staff members and once cleaned will be sealed with tamper proof tape to ensure the next user is guaranteed of its safe use.
Parking onsite will be designated for you, where enough space will be left for you to park and exit your vehicle, safely and within distance to be secure.
The sites will have a one-way system for entrance and exit. This is to ensure that you are walking the same way as other customers and therefore ensuring that the flow of customers aids with safety and social distancing measures.
PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) will be provided to you in the form of Hand Sanitiser, Gloves and Masks to aid with your safety, in certain areas you will also see protective screens.
Should you require a consultation with a member of staff then this will be conducted in an area where only you and the site representative are present and separated by a protective screen for the safety of both.
Refreshments will be made available for you personally within your personal designated seating area, where you will be able to sit and relax safely and in line with the current social distancing rules.
Brochures, quotations and other paperwork (hard copy) will be emailed to you in order to again assist with social distancing measures. Where signatures are required or information / keys are passed between you and the Unity Automotive Employee, protective gloves will be used for the safety of all.
Payment made to Unity Automotive Group can be made by Internet Banking, contactless Debit Card or Chip and Pin. Internet Banking remain a preferred method for safety and limiting any additional surface touching.
New or Pre-Owned demonstrations will be available to you. You chosen vehicle will be sanitised (prior to your visit) and will be complete with tamper proof tape over across the doors to ensure and demonstrate that no other person has been into the vehicle since the sanitisation for you. The vehicle can then be test driven by you (without a member of staff) utilising trade plates if required. All vehicles will be tracked to be able Unity Automotive to assist should you have a problem as well as our vehicle security. Please speak to our staff regarding demonstrations on high performance vehicles.
Upon vehicle collection or delivery, you can expect that your vehicle will be presented to you sanitised, with a protective seat covering and steering wheel covering. Keys will have been wiped over and passed to you in a bag for your added safety.
