What is Motability?

The Motability Scheme was introduced back in the 1970s as a means to help those with a disability fund the lease on a quality new car. It has since helped thousands of motorists and continues to provide access to the very latest models.

Am I eligible?

To qualify the Motability Scheme, you should be in receipt of one of the following and have a minimum award length of 12 months available. What’s more, if you are the parent or guardian of a child aged three or over who is in receipt of the allowance, you will be able to lease a vehicle on their behalf.

  • Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC DLA)
  • Enhanced Rate Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP)
  • War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
  • Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
